Sharing My Faith
It is my pleasure to share my faith and my beliefs with you through song, as well as the written and spoken word. God has blessed me with the ability to write songs and sing them for His glory. I have also written a book, with accompanying CD, entitled Sweet Song, (Copyright 2006). Sweet Song, as well as the second song on the CD, bear the same name, and were inspired by God, after the death of my father in May 2006. My book offers the reader a candid, heartfelt, sometimes humorous autobiographical sketch of my life, while at the same time encompassing the awesome characteristics of God and the faith that has kept me strong. The first song on the CD, "Pine Straw Path of Life" (Copyright 2006), tells how God restored my faith at a time when I needed it most, and how He, in doing so, brought peace to my soul. My book, with accompanying CD are offered to you at a cost of $14.95 on this website, as well as by contacting me personally. The words God gave me when He inspired this book were a great source of healing for me, and it is my prayer that my book will in some way touch you, and give you a greater sense of God's presence in your life. ~ MY NEW CD, "WALKIN' WITH MY LORD" IS NOW AVAILABLE ~ It is with great pleasure that I present Walkin' With My Lord". He walks with me every step of the way and when I can't put one foot in front of the other, He carries me. His strength is perfect, and when I grow weary, He is still going strong. I am happy to include "Love's Song", as part of this CD, in honor of the "love of my life", my closest, dearest friend this side of Heaven. It is with sincere pleasure that I dedicate this song and CD to him, not only for who he is, but because of his influence in my life and the encouragement he gives. Singing my favorite childhood song, "He Keeps Me Singing", was the prelude of what God had in store for my life. It is my pleasure to share one of my original songs with you on this CD. I wrote "Two Have Died For Me", in honor of the American Soldier, and in humble gratitude for the gift of salvation that was bought and paid for by Christ's blood on Calvary. Our Lord and Savior is truly "Above All" powers, and it is because "Somebody's Prayin'", that our brave men and women find the strength and courage to lay their lives on the line, each and every day for our freedom. Until each one returns home safe and sound, let us always remember to say a prayer for our troops - air, sea, and on the ground. These are just a few of the 16 songs that are included on my new CD. My song selection includes a variety of country gospel, southern gospel, bluegrass, contemporary, and modern praise and worship, and is being offered to you at a cost of $15.00 on this website, as well as by contacting me personally. My goal is that the beauty of Christ be reflected in my daily walk and that the characteristics of compassion, humility, faith and perseverance be ever present in me.
