For a few years now, my girlfriend and I have spent a lot of time in the summer months traveling to various parks in WV. So, when we began planning for our wedding, nine to ten months prior, we started looking for an out-of-town pastor who might marry us on one of our trips. We wanted a small service (with just she, I, and the pastor), but "small" should not mean we needed to settle for something that wasn't also special. Personal. Memorable. We absolutely did not want a cookie-cutter, generic, "say your vows and go down the road" type wedding.  . After much review, I contacted Pastor Pam Powers Moore. She impressed me so much so that I didn't even call any other pastors. Within a very short period we had a date and time locked in! We had decided on the venue Heaven's Grace. Pastor Pam touched base with me from time to time over the next six months or so, and she was always responsive when I corresponded with her. . About a month out, Pastor Pam sent me a draft for our wedding, asking for our review, requesting revisions/additions/corrections, etc. When I reviewed it - what a wonderful surprise! It was extremely clear she must have taken good notes during our communications, because the draft for OUR wedding was specific to US!!! We didn't ask her to change a thing!  .  Our day finally came, and our service was conducted. Pastor Pam was so very kind, personable, well spoken, and accommodating to our wishes. She clearly has a true passion for what she does. She takes both the content and the execution of her ceremonies seriously. We wanted a special, personal, and memorable wedding and that is EXACTLY what Pastor Pam Powers Moore gave us!!!  . Last thing, simply because some folks reading the reviews may want to know.... The price. I assure you, the great ceremony we received versus what we paid? It was worth every single penny! Thank you, Pastor Pam! You were our Pastor. Now we consider you our friend.

After dark, it magically transforms into an OH SO ROMANTIC nighttime escape, surrounded by the soft glow of tiki-torches and candles. Do YOU Need a Wedding Officiant/ Minister for YOUR Special Day?  Many couples have a hard time finding a Minister to marry them if they are living together prior to marriage, if they have been married before, or if they don't belong to a particular church affiliation or religion.  My only requirements are that couples truly love each other, that they understand the importance and sanctity of marriage and that they have a sincere desire to be united as Husband and Wife under God's blessing. That's it! . Hi. My name is Pam, and I am a fully Licensed, and Ordained, Non-Denominational Christian Minister/ Professional Wedding Officiant. I began family ministry in 2011 and have been blessed to officiate at some of the most incredible venues throughout the East Coast. And now, 1,000+ ceremonies later, I can honestly say that it has been the experience of a lifetime. I have met so many wonderful couples and worked to create some of the most amazing ceremonies as I learned about their cultures, traditions, and wrote love stories to reflect their most cherished dreams and combined personalities. As with everything in life, things change and by God's grace, I was able to open my own venue in 2018. I continued to travel, while officiating small ceremonies here at home, and as of June 2023, I now officiate elopements, weddings, vow renewals, and other life-event ceremonies exclusively at my home venue, Heaven's Grace, and other venues within the Buckhannon, West Virginia area. You will find my welcoming venue nestled within a quiet, peaceful setting, adjacent to my log home, located just outside Buckhannon, West Virginia. And I must tell you... the drive getting here is almost as gorgeous as the venue itself. Having been in the wedding industry for so many years, I realize how expensive weddings can be. I have seen many couples struggle to find a way to pay for their wedding and in my heart, I know it shouldn't be that way. My sole purpose in officiating ceremonies at Heaven's Grace is to provide a quality service at an affordable price, so that couples don't have to sacrifice their dreams or settle for less than they truly want. Every couple has a song of love in their hearts that they want the whole wide world to hear and helping them express that song in words is what I do best. I specialize in beautiful custom-written personalized ceremonies that capture the heart and soul of a relationship and strive to ensure that each ceremony I officiate is UNIQUELY BREATHTAKING, ... just the way YOU want it! My love-inspired ceremonies are Beautiful, Professional, AFFORDABLE, and each all-inclusive ceremony package includes Venue, Officiant, Music, Photography, and a copy of my E Book, "Secrets to a Deeper Love: How to Create a Happy Marriage." I also provide Interpretive Services upon request. My ceremonies are never religious unless the couple specifically asks for them to be. Instead, they are spiritual in nature and focus on the gift of love God has given them, being good to each other and cherishing their love for a lifetime. They are also not canned, off the shelf ceremonies. Each one is love-inspired and personally written for the couple I am working with. They can be contemporary, traditional or a nice blend of the two. I can provide samples of readings, vows, and ceremonial add-ons that you may choose from to make your ceremony unique and meaningful to the two of you, and if you would like something special written in, I am always happy to include it. Your dream ceremony is limited only by your imagination; writing and public speaking are my strong points, and I always like to tell my couples, "If you can think it, I can write it." Once your ceremony is written and approved by you, you will never have to worry about it being heard clearly by your guests. I use an amp with microphone and do everything within my power to ensure that all bases are covered. Couples wait their entire lives to find the person of their dreams, and once they do, I feel it's my job to make their ceremony the absolute best it can be. I not only provide a quality product, but I also leave my couples with treasured memories and an experience that is both professional and completely affordable. My ultimate goal is to make your dream wedding not only possible, but absolutely PERFECT, and I won't be happy until it is. NOTE: Marriages officiated in West Virginia must be solemnized under a Marriage License issued by a County Clerk within the State of West Virginia, and it must be presented prior to officiating the ceremony.  West Virginia residents may apply for and receive their Marriage License from the County Clerk in the county in which they live. Out-of-state residents may obtain their Marriage License from any county within the State of West Virginia. There is no waiting period for Marriage Licenses in West Virignia, and many times couples will stop by the Upshur County Courthouse in Buckhannon and obtain their License before coming on out to my home, providing that the Courthouse is open and it is during business hours on the day of their wedding. If this isn't feasible, I always recommend that couples apply for and obtain their License at the County Clerk's office closest to their home state. The fee for a West Virginia Marriage License is $56 and the License is good for 60 days. However, if you choose to have marriage counseling prior to obtaining your License, and provide documentation, the fee is reduced to $36.  I do not require counseling, but I am always willing to provide it at no charge for couples who desire it.   *** If a Marriage License is not obtained and presented at the time of your ceremony, it will be considered a Commitment Ceremony, and the parties will not attain legal status as husband and wife.
