Pam Powers Moore was
born in Buckhannon, West Virginia where she attended local schools and graduated from Fairmont State University in Fairmont,
West Virginia. She has distinguished herself with a successful career in Business Administration; as well as her accomplishments
in many other areas, to include music, literary arts, and public speaking. Pam is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother,
and together with her husband, has extended her heart and home to other children who she lovingly refers to as her "family
by heart".
Pam has been involved in church since childhood, where she has served
as teacher, youth leader, and youth choir director. She became a Lay Speaker for the United Methodist Church in
2003, and is currently working toward ordination as a full-time Christian Minister. Pam is also a Speaker
for Stonecroft Ministries, International.
Pam established
Sweet Song Ministries in 2006, as a way of giving back what God has given her, and ministers regularly in nursing homes and
churches; as well as conferences, fairs, festivals and social events throughout West Virginia and surrounding areas. She
believes life is a gift that should not be taken for granted and continually strives to live each day to the fullest, making
the most of every opportunity God affords her. She openly shares her testimony through song, the written and
spoken word, and is available for bookings upon request. Pam's ministry has been described as "Anointed",
"Uplifting", and "Spirit-Filled".
In an effort to expand Sweet Song Ministries, Pam is nearing completion
of a Degree Program in Christian Counseling Services, with a specialization in Women's Minstry and Children's
Counseling
Pam has written numerous poems, songs and short stories; as well as her first
published literary accomplishment, Sweet
Song. Her book was inspired by God, after the death of her
father and is receiving great reviews from all who read it. Sweet Song offers the reader a candid, heartfelt, sometimes humorous autobiographical sketch
of her life, while at the same time encompassing the characteristics of God and the faith that has kept her strong.
