Ministering the Word - 2008 .
.
| The New Hope Orphan Children Home |
|
|
| Andhra Pradesh, Kotipalli, South India |
In February 2008, I was granted the unique privilege
of ministering to a Orphan Children's Home in India. The distance between the United States and India is bridged
by a common love for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and that love binds our hearts together. I correspond
with the children regularly and have sent them tokens of love to show not only the commitment of my involvement in their Christian
upbringing, but to also demonstrate the heart of our God which is for all men. They are wearing white crosses which
say "Jesus Loves Me', and are shown playing wooden harmonicas which also display the same wording.
He indeed loves each and every one of us unconditionally, no matter where we've been, or what we've done. That
love is free and all we need do is accept it in order to receive the fullness of His bountiful blessings.

| Left to Right: Pam Powers Moore and Gloria Mayle |
. . . . .
; While
attending the Women of Joy Conference in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, 11-13 April 2008, with my friends Darlene and Gloria Mayle,
Gloria and I had the opportunity to visit The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Miracle
Show is an original Broadway-style musical production based on the life and miracles of Jesus Christ. It is Biblically accurate
and retells many miraculous events from Creation to Christ's ascension. The Miracle is called “The
Ultimate Battle between Good and Evil, ” and the word "spectacular" doesn't even come close. The
show features an enormous cast of singers, dancers, actors, and live animals. I sat in amazement as I saw angels
fly overhead and Roman centurion soldiers ride on horse back in the theater. The sounds of the wind and the rain
before Jesus calms the sea in the midst of the Apostles was so realistic that we felt we were in the midst of it. And
the one thing I'll never forget is the awe I felt when the lights went down and I saw the heaven of stars above me. I
might also note that The Miracle, which started out as a musical, is now a mission-based ministry, with a goal to "present
faith-based family entertainment through live theatrical productions revealing the person of Jesus Christ as the Living Word
of God.'" They also help support World Hunger and are doing their part to bring Christ's love into all
the world.
Some of the scenes portrayed in The Miracle are: The Dawning of Creation and The Garden of Eden Brought to Life, Magnificent Aerial Battle of Angels as Lucifer
Falls from Grace, The Birth of Jesus Christ and Majestic Kings on Live Camels, Christ's Performance of
Miracles, and the Passion of Christ’s Crucifixion and Miraculous Ascension. I would encourage you to take your
family and friends to see the story of Christ revealed right before your eyes! I promise it will be an experience you
will never forget. . . .

| Mother's Day Celebration - May 10, 2008 |
The daughter of one of the residents of a nursing home I minister at invited me to speak at her church's Mother's
Day Banquet in May. She made arrangements to bring her mother to the banquet, and once there, the mother was quite surprised
to see me and to realize that I was the guest speaker. It was a fun occasion, and I was blessed to be a part of it.
I have always said that God brings people into our lives to either bless us or to blessed by us, and this wonderful
lady and her family are definitely a blessing to me. J

| Stonecroft Women's Connection Group Meeting |
|
|
| Richmond Country Club, Richmond, VA - Oct 14, 2008 |
. . At
the invitation of Gwen Stastney, Stonecroft Ministries Representative for the Richmond, Virginia area, I was blessed
with the opportunity of speaking to four Women's Connection groups during the period of October 13-15, 2008.
It was an honor to share my personal testimony with these women, and to meet and talk with each of them. Meeting
them reaffirmed to me that women in general, regardless of location, upbringing, and daily responsibilities, all
share the same needs and desires. Our problems and situations may be different, but knowing we can find joy in
serving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior was a common bond between us, and it was truly exciting for me to see their love
for the Lord. . During my stay in Richmond, I was blessed to stay at
the home of Lorraine Joseph, a former Stonecroft Speaker. As we talked and got to know each other, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing
her recount her experiences as a Stonecroft Speaker and she gave me a new eagerness and excitement for the journey I
have just begun. This was my first experience speaking for Stonecroft, and I am looking forward to speaking for
the clubs that have already confirmed me for 2009. . God is Good... all the time !!! All the time.... God is Good !!!
