Many family
members and friends who share my beliefs have also created web sites. I hope you will enjoy visiting them, and
that by doing so, you will gain a greater insight into my own life, as well.

~ My Grandparents ~
My mother, Oneita Karickhoff Powers, grew up the
eighth of nine children and I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful family. One of my cousins, Mr. Shane Smith,
developed a website in honor of the Karickhoff family and has incorporated family history as well as pictures and other interesting
information into his tribute. I hope you will enjoy www.KarickhoffFamily.com, and when you're finished, come back to Sweet Song Ministries to see how the love and faith of my grandparents has been
carried forward to my own life and the ministry through which God has so richly blessed me.

My mother later married Glenn Powers and together they started their own family,
based on the love and Christian principles that were such a part of their heritage. My sister, Gloria Jean Powers
Husk has created a website filled with photos, family history, articles of faith and other information that can
be accessed at www.Gloryway.com. Gloria has also published a book entitled "Reflections of My Life From the Florida Panhandle". Her
book is a compilation of poems, inspired by God, which give the reader a glimpse of her life and faith. Gloria's
website, like our cousin, Shane's, is filled with family heritage and the sweet spirit of love that has passed through the
generations to fill our family today.

The Magazine For and About Sidecarists
One of life's greatest blessings is that of a dear friend and neighbor.
Chris Dodson has been that to me. Chris single-handedly edits and publishes Hack'd Magazine, "The Magazine
For and About Sidecarists". Chris and her family moved into our neighborhood shortly after my husband and
I built our home and although I don't get to spend as much time with her as I would like, knowing her has truly been a
joy. I remember one time Chris gave me some sunflower seeds for my flowerbed, and even now as I recall that moment, I realize
that no other flower could have been more appropriate as a gift from her. Chris is a ray of sunshine, and her positive
can-do attitude, combined with her recognition of a Higher Power over her life, makes her a truly remarkable person.
Sidecars are as much her passion as music is mine, and I hope you will enjoy her site. www.Hackd.com

St. Helena Island, South Carolina
My sister Gloria's oldest son, Danny Husk, Jr., does graphic and
website design work for Port Royal Seafood Company, a family-owned and operated business located on St. Helena Island, SC.
Port Royal Seafood is my favorite, not only because the shrimp are the best I've ever tasted, but also because it
is located near my favorite vacation spot, Hunting Island State Park, also located on St. Helena Island. Last fall
when my husband, Mike, and I went to the beach, we spent a couple of days with Danny and I affirmed for
myself that All American Wild Shrimp are not only the best on the East Coast, but "The Best Tasting Shrimp
in The World". While Mike and Danny spent the afternoon fishing, I was content to lay back, relax in
the sun, and enjoy Karen Kingsbury's latest book. Later on in the day, though, I helped them enjoy
the fruits of their labor, and I don't know what I enjoyed more, eating the shrimp or watching the shrimp boats at
dusk. Enjoy a trip of your own at www.PortRoyalSeafood.com, but before you start out, let me caution you.... the site may make you very hungry. Not to worry though,
Danny is only a phone call away, and I'm sure he would welcome your order. The taste of their seafood is surpassed
only by their great customer service, and you won't be disappointed !!! I GAR-ON-TEE
