A LEGACY OF LOVE

"And All Because Two People Fell In Love" ~ Brad Paisley

Family ties are precious things, woven through the years of laughter, love and tears.  Family ties are cherished things forged in childhood days, by love of parents deep and true, by tradition, by family ways. Family ties are treasured things and far though we may roam, the tender bonds with those we love still pull our hearts toward home.  ~Unknown

GRANDPARENTS

Few can bring the warmth we can find in their embrace, and little more is needed to bring love than the smile on their face. They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear, or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years. I believe that God sent us Grandparents, as our legacy from above, to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.  ~Unknown

A MOTHER

When God looked down upon the earth and chose to put new blessings there, gifts from above to show his love, and lighten earthly joy and care, He gave the sky the sunset glow; gave fragrance to the lilly's below; gave laughter gay to children's play, and then to every yearning soul, He gave that gift of tenderest worth - A Mother.  ~ Sarah N. Latham

I remember Daddy's hands, How they held my Mama tight, And patted my back for something done right, There are things I've forgotten, That I loved about the man, But I'll always remember, The love in Daddy's hands.

Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin', Daddy's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong, Daddy's hands weren't always gentle but I've come to understand, There was always love in Daddy's hands.  ~ Holly Dunn

TO MY DAUGHTERS

"You're a precious thought to me, a treasure to my heart. You're a daughter who has played a very special part.  All the beauty life can give Is summarized in you.  I am proud and I am glad that life presented you.   In your own compelling way I see that you're unique.  I am confident you'll reach the very goals you seek.   Your growth and progress always are so charming to behold.  It is such a wondrous thing to watch your life unfold.   All my love and all my hopes give time a special hue.  All my days and all my years, are full because of you".  ~Unknown

"It's never too late to have a happy childhood.  Walk in the rain, collect rainbows, smell flowers, stop along the way, build sand castles, watch the moon and stars come out, say hello to everyone, make up new rules, go on adventures, act silly, take bubble baths, hold hands and hug and kiss, dance, laugh and cry for the health of it, feel happy, say magic words, and trust the universe".  ~ Bruce Williamson
