What's Happenin'

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has posted comments to my Guestbook.  I sincerely appreciate your thoughts, and kind remarks, and hope you will come back from time to time to check out the changes, and to see what is happening with Sweet Song Ministries.   I pray that you will be blessed by the information you find here, and that you will leave with a sense of peacefulness that comes only from Him. Take care of yourself and Keep Smilin'.

June 29, 2008 -  God is continuing to open doors and "blow my socks off" with the way He is working within Sweet Song Ministries.  I am finding more and more that there is a great hunger for "more" of God, and as I share the Father's Heart of Love for His people, He continues to bless me with more and more opportunities.  I am nearing completion of a Degree Program in Women's Ministry Counseling and look forward to the opportunity of ministering with women and children in a way that will not only enable them to draw on God's strength and love, but also empower them with the knowledge and insight they need to help them better face their day to day problems.

As I continue to minister in nursing and rehabilitation homes, I am finding that the bond being developed between the residents and myself is one of pure joy.  These wonderful people bless me each and every time I visit them, and I consider it not only an honor, but a great privilege to serve them and be a part of their lives.

The past two weekends I have been blessed to be a part of the Miracle Crusades in West Virginia, and have been awestruck at the way God has moved not only in the lives of people, but with notable healings that have taken place.  This crusade was part of a ministry by Living for Jesus International/Feed My Lambs Ministry, and the testimonies I heard were astounding.  The Power of God's Presence was overwhelming as I listened intently to the teachings, and felt the touch of the Holy Spirit in my own life.  The love of God flowed through the Ministry Team in a powerful way, and as God embraced us with His Almighty Presence, I knew that we were experiencing God's Glory at it's finest.

When I think about my spiritual growth over the past several months, I am soooo thankful for His mercy, His boundless grace, and His Love over my life.  He gives us so many blessings each and every day, so many that we take for granted, and it is my desire that I will always be grateful not only for the big things in life, but the little things that make life worth living.  Things like a hug, a loving touch, a smile from a friend, and just to wake up in the morning and say "Good Morning, God".   He is there with me the first thing in the morning and every night when I close my eyes, and I have so much to be thankful for.

Oh, and did I mention that God is AWESOME?  J

I pray God's blessings on each and every one, and if I can be of help to you in any way, I hope you will please let me know.

January 2, 2008 -  The last quarter of 2007 was a whirlwind for me as I continued to sing and minister throughout the area.   I was blessed to be invited to several churches and public gatherings throughout West Virginia and surrounding states, and was overwhelmed by the warm support I received.   The kindness and generosity of the people I met was humbling, to say the least.   Each time God moved, I was blessed by His loving Presence and the goodness and the Father's Heart.

I continued my regular visits to nursing homes and assisted living homes throughout the state and will be adding several more to my schedule over the coming months.   I also look forward to the opportunity of singing and ministering in additional churches throughout the area, as well.

I have been touched by the response to both my book, Sweet Song, and my new CD Roses Will Bloom Again.   There is no greater feeling that to know that God is working through me to bless others for Him.

I pray that God will richly bless each and every one of you and that He will continue to bless me as I endeavor to do His will.

The West Virginia Mustang Club held it's 27th Annual Car Show on September 23, 2007.  I was invited to be a part of this event and enjoyed watching the participants "shine up" their cars while listening to the sounds of my voice beaming through the loud speakers. I began the show by singing the National Anthem and "Redeemer", and then following a short worship service, I continued to sing throughout the morning.   God never ceases to amaze me with the way He "shows up" in the midst of my ministry, no matter the surroundings or situation.  He IS an AWESOME God.

September 6, 2007 -  I sang at Paula's Personal Care Home in Buckhannon, West Virginia for the first time this evening.  Paula shares her home with three very special ladies who love to sing and hear the word of God.  I was especially blessed by one lady who has difficulty hearing.  I stood close to her while I was singing and when she left to go back to her room, she remarked "Thank you for being here.  I enjoyed it as best I could."   Another lady sat with tears streaming down her face as the Spirit of God touched her heart with His tender mercies.   I will be singing at Paula's the first Saturday of each month at 7:00 PM.

On September 2, 2007, I had the opportunity to sing at the Socastee United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach, West Virginia.  It was the largest crowd I had been given the opportunity to sing before, up until that point and I thoroughly enjoyed being there to share in their church service.  I met many wonderful people and despite technical difficulties with the sound equipment, God prevailed, and He turned both the service and my music into a success.

In addition to singing at the Holbrooks Nursing Home in Buckhannon, I am now singing monthly at the Heritage Assisted Living Home in St. Mary's.   I was blessed to be there this past Saturday evening, May 12, 2007, and am looking forward to continuining my ministry to these special people.

April 24, 2007 - My ministry is continuing to grow and I appreciate the opportunities I have been given to share my faith.  I have enjoyed meeting each and every one of you and am blessed by you and your comments.   As I continue to serve God, and rest in His presence, I look forward to expanding my ministry and to experiencing whatever He has in store for me.

March 17, 2007 was the beginning of my monthly ministry, "Singing With Pam", at the Holbrooks Nursing Home in Buckhannon, West Virginia.  I had the opportunity to meet and visit with several of the patients, and after singing several songs by myself, I interacted with the patients in a "sing-a-long" and St. Patrick's Day festivity.  It was a wonderful experience and I commented afterwards that I felt being with, and ministering to them had in effect touched me as much, or more, than it did them.   I will be at Holbrooks the 3rd Saturday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

On the following day, March 18th, I was blessed to be a part of the service at End Times Ministry (formerly Grace Chapel) in Buckhannon.  Rev. Keith and Lois Francis gave me the opportunity to minister in song and God's Spirit was definitely alive and present.  I enjoyed being a part of the service, but especially enjoyed Rev. Francis' sermon and  listening to the music provided by Keith, Lois, and their daughter Joy.

On March 15, 2007, I had the opportunity to speak with Bob Edwards on WBUC Radio's morning edition of the Round Table.   Mr. Edwards spoke with me about my book, my ministry, and upcoming events.  It was a real pleasure meeting and talking with him, and I am thankful for the exposure this interview offered.

I am excited to see the number of people who are looking at my site and am encouraged by the responses to my Book and CD.  I am starting to get bookings and hope that soon I will have every Saturday evening filled up.  I enjoy doing what I feel God called me to do and am blessed by your comments, and response to the ministry God has entrusted me to do for Him.
